Bangle + bracelet sizing
You can determine your bangle or bracelet size by measuring your wrist circumference using a piece of string or strip of paper. You will also need a ruler or tape measure.
To measure your wrist:
- Cut a piece string or strip of paper to a length of around 22cm.
- Wrap the string or paper around your the wrist at the widest point.Â
- Ensure the string or paper sits comfortably - not too tight, but not so loose that it could slip over your hand.
- Mark the string or paper where it overlaps.
- Lay the string or paper on a flat surface against a ruler or tape measure.
- Measure the length of the string or paper between the overlapping marks.
This measurement provides your wrist circumference.
To choose your bangle or bracelet size:
- Snug fit: Add 0.5 cm to your wrist circumference.
- Comfortable fit: Add 1 cm to your wrist circumference.
- Loose fit: Add 1.5 cm to your wrist circumference.
Don't forget, if you are purchasing a bangle which is designed to slip on and doesn't feature a hinge to open and close, you'll need to allow a little extra space for your bangle to slip over your hand.
