Meet the artist
Artist Toni-Maree Savage has always been fascinated by art and creativity. Some of her earliest memories involve drawing, painting and creating works from clay and other bits and pieces. In recent years, she has turned her complete attention to art and creativity as a full-time jewellery and fine artist.
Toni-Maree enjoys creating across a variety of mediums. Many of her works explore issues of contemporary society, historical themes and memories of childhood. She is particularly interested in investigating beauty, aesthetics and narrative from a variety of perspectives and mediums.
Toni-Maree currently lives in Brisbane, Australia, with her husband and flock of backyard chickens. She spends the majority of her time in her studio creating.
I feel the most joy and serenity in my life when I am creating. My artworks are expressions of the beauty I find in nature and my imagination. My aim is to create works that stimulate an emotional connection with the viewer.
