Creative Hands Press

Creative Hands Press
Creative Hands Press is an independent publishing imprint creating thoughtful books and resources for makers, artists, and creative practitioners.
Founded by Toni-Maree Savage, a jeweller, writer, and artist, the press grew out of a desire to offer a quieter, more reflective approach to creative work, one that honours process, patience, and the lived experience of making with the hands.
The books published under Creative Hands Press are created with care and intention. They are designed to support creative people not only in what they make, but in how they sustain their practice over time.
Rather than focusing on productivity or performance, Creative Hands Press is interested in meaning, motivation, and the deeper relationship between maker and work.
About the Press
Creative Hands Press is a small, independent imprint.
All publications are developed slowly and thoughtfully, with attention given to language, design, and the experience of the reader.
Creative Hands Press believes that making is not only a technical skill, but a deeply human practice shaped by time, care, and connection.

Beyond the Bench: Motivation, Mindset & Magic for Handmade Jewellery Makers
Beyond the Bench invites readers to pause and look more closely at their relationship with making. Through reflection, gentle prompts, and lived studio insights, the book explores the inner landscape that often shapes creative work but is rarely discussed. It offers space to reconnect with intention, restore motivation, and remain close to the quiet joy of making.
