Warranty & repairs
Jewellery is made to be worn and lived with, and from time to time it may need a little care. Wherever possible, I would much rather repair a piece and help extend its life than see it discarded or replaced.
12-Month Warranty
Jewellery made by Toni-Maree is covered by a 12-month warranty against faults in materials or workmanship, commencing from the date of purchase. Proof of purchase is required.
If you discover a problem that you believe may be covered by the warranty, please contact me and tell me what has happened. I may ask for photographs or further information before arranging an assessment.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
- normal wear and tear
- accidental damage, knocks, drops or pulling
- neglect or inappropriate use
- failure to follow my Jewellery Care guidance
- loss or theft
- alterations or repairs by another jeweller where these have caused or contributed to the problem
Once I have inspected the piece, I will let you know whether the repair is covered by the warranty.
Repairs
If your jewellery needs attention outside the warranty period, or the damage is not covered by the warranty, I may still be able to repair it.
Please contact me with details of the piece and the problem. Once I have assessed the jewellery, I will provide a quote before any paid repair work begins.
Some repairs may not be possible depending on the design, materials, extent of damage or availability of replacement components.
Returning Jewellery for Repair
Please contact me before sending jewellery back, so I can provide return instructions.
For paid repairs and items sent for assessment, return postage is generally the customer's responsibility. I recommend using a tracked service appropriate to the jewellery's value.
If an issue is confirmed to be covered by the warranty, I will arrange the repair and return delivery with you.
